9:00 AM: Our tour guide and van will pick you up from your accommodation. After a brief introduction, we’ll begin our adventure with a 1 km uphill trek on a small trail, leading us to stunning mountain views.
After an hour of vigorous trekking, we’ll reach the summit of Sa Seng Mountain. From this vantage point, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Fansipan Mountain, the highest peak in Indochina at 3,143 meters, as well as a sweeping view of Sa Pa town.
From the top, you’ll be able to gaze down upon the renowned rice terraces in Muong Hoa Valley and the largest river and valley in Sa Pa.
After soaking in the breathtaking landscape, we’ll descend the mountainside to Hang Da, a village inhabited by the Black Hmong minority. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see local livestock such as buffaloes, cows, and pigs, which play a crucial role in the community.
11:30 AM: We will then enjoy lunch at a quaint restaurant run by a local family. Following lunch, we’ll continue along a small road to Hau Thao, another Black Hmong village.
In Hau Thao, you’ll witness daily life, and if timing allows, you may see locals working in the fields, harvesting or planting rice. Our guide will also share insights into Hmong marriage traditions, rice field work, and house-building techniques.
11:30 AM: We will then enjoy lunch at a quaint restaurant run by a local family. Following lunch, we’ll continue along a small road to Hau Thao, another Black Hmong village.
2:30 PM: We will then walk to Giang Ta Chai village.
4:30 PM: Transfer back to your hotel, concluding our tour.
